Beaches

Saunton Sands - a huge sandy beach which stretches for 3 miles south.
Hartland Quay - a small harbour with a pebble beach with areas of rock and sand at low tide.
Sandymouth – National Trust beach.
Duckpool- Good surfing.
Welcombe –pebbly but very scenic with river and waterfall onto the beach
Widemouth - a huge sandy beach
Trebarwith Strand - a long sandy beach which is popular with families and surfers.
Bude - a range of good sandy beaches, including Summerleaze and Northcott.
Westward Ho!- An expansive seaside village beach.


Fishing

Salt water fishing available from Woolacombe, Clovelly, Appledore, Ilfracombe and Lynmouth

Coarse fishing available at Melbury Reservoir

Still water trout fishing available at Blakewell fisheries, SW Lakes Trust

River game fishing available on Rives Taw, Torridge, Mole And East Lyn.
